To all of our 'elected' and bought officials I say you are a den of thieves to whom Christ would not hesitate to drive from the temple. You espouse a philosophy of cruelty and hate and claim to have the 'best interests' of the country at heart. Humbug. You are servants of lies and deceit. You have condemned the children of our nation to a life of servitude and debt. You have allowed the interests of corporations to override the interests of the citizen. You have betrayed the very spirit of the American Revolution. You are a pox upon this nation and I say may God have mercy on you - for you have certainly forgotten the lesson of Job. Job? You don't remember Job? He, the one - through no fault of his own - was laid low by the Lord to test his faith. He was oppressed and the leading citizens spat upon him. He never left the blessings of the Lord God - but all believed he deserved what he received. No, he did not deserve any such thing. He was the one that was most faithful until the end. For 50 years we had created a society where true poverty would not happen. And in 8 years you have destroyed it. The Debtors Prison bill, the Strip Court Protections Act, the propensity of hate-filled legislature that is being pushed through Congress to be signed by a man filled with anti-Christ spirit. For Christ taught us compassion and love - not hate and greed. Capitalism is not a 'Christian' ideal - nor is Communism or Socialism. No 'ism' is - we are to care for one another. Love one another, as Christ loved us. And when we do not do this, we condemn ourselves and our children. I pray that your eyes may be opened to the damage you do and that you will repent from your evil ways. And make no mistake, those that follow the path of greed are on a path to perdition. There is no other outcome. May God open your eyes and your hearts so that you might see and be saved. So much is wrong in our society now that I don't even know where to start.
God, alone, has the answer, and He did not choose GW Bush as the answer. I am certain of that in a way that I have not been certain of anything in many, many years. I am amazed at how blinded the populace has become. I despair for my country - for I love this land of my birth - of my families heritage. Of my family's blood. I am a part of this land - entwined within it. I am ashamed of what my fellow citizens have allowed to happen once again - and worse and worse now than then. The Founding Fathers would be ashamed and horrified by what we have become. Who we have allowed to control our government by our own lack of vigilance - and lack of virtue. It takes vigilance and virtue to keep a Republic. I fear that Benjamin Franklin's warning is true and we are at the brink of losing all. Pray that we might be delivered from the hands of these deceivers who have slowly overtaken our government. Pray that we will not destroy the world through our inaction and laziness in the electoral process. Pray. Pray. Pray. There is no other answer at this point. Pray that all the lies in Washington DC come to see the light of day. For that is a den of serpents and liars. Pray that the people will do what God wills us to do and not what is easy. Pray for the peace of Christ.

Business Too Big for Its Britches!

There are problems with the U.S.A. today. Real problems that are being made worse by our current government and their kowtowing to corporate interests. I am seeing less and less acknowledgment of CITIZEN FIRST employee second.

If you are an employee of a company, what you do on their time with their property is their business. BUT when you are not on their time it is none of their business. 

It doesn't matter whether you are a nude biker posting obscene pictures to whether you can do a job.  What you do on company time is the company's business, anything else is NOT.

I feel very strongly about this because I have seen a degeneration of the rights of the individual in recent years.  Ever since the labor movement was betrayed by the traitorous congress during Truman's administration.

I'm sorry, but I truly believe that 'Republican Party Member' = TRAITOR.  They have no respect for the founding principles of the United States.  None.  They think people should be treated like slaves.  Can you think of any other reason a company should be able to fire or not hire someone for:

1. Smoking on their own time.
2. Writing about their personal experiences on a BLOG.
3. Being Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual.
4. Financial records.

None of these are things an employer has any business knowing about.

Now, if you get arrested and can't come to work - that is different.  If you need to be bonded for your job, anything that can affect that is the business of the insurer bonding you. And the reason you cannot be bonded is NOT the business of the business.  Just that you are not qualified due to not being able to be bonded.

I may seem extreme, but what I believe in is PRIVACY.  Yes, a quaint little word, a quaint little idea.  But something that is woefully lacking and being stolen everyday.  It is time to Take Back America from the business lackeys. 

I believe that the Bush administration is the embodiment of the spirit of antichrist. They do all the things that I was taught the Pharisees and Sadducees were chased out of the temple by Christ for.

I am watching F 9/11 by Michael Moore - there are no surprises. At least for folks who have clue. I am so disappointed in my fellow Americans. They have abandoned the ideals that made this country great, especially the mantra that ALL POLITICIANS ARE LIARS AND CROOKS. What happened to the America of my childhood? Those who learned the lessons of the Nixon era?

My Fellow Americans, I am calling on you to remember what it means to be an American. It does not mean blindly following what another tells you. It does not mean going to your death for an unjust cause. It does not mean selling your and your children's future to foreign investors.

What does it mean to be an American?

It means you will question everything your government ever says or does. It means you will defend unto death the right of your fellows to disagree and hold opposite views. It means that you will put the good of your country - the United States of America - over profit or convenience.

Real American Patriots think for themselves.

Yellow Journalism Returns? It Never Left

It seems to me that no one remembers what newspapers - the root of journalism - were originally. They have always had a definite tinge of yellow from their earliest times. Benjamin Franklin himself did not write 'the truth' all the time. He fabricated lots of stuff to make his political points. We shouldn't be surprised the New York Times has, once again, done the same.
What do I mean by 'once again'. Well, historically, they haven't always been very accurate. They have an ax to grind like everyone else.

So, where do you look for unbiased coverage of news? I like the Christian Science Monitor (http://www.csmonitor.com/). Avoid their editorials and you have the best unbiased reporting around. The second best being the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/).  Remember that the BBC reported the truth and their news director was forced to resign - their people prefer to resign rather than lie.  Of course, the BBC seems to have a mandate to annoy those in power in Great Britain and the World.

The world hasn't really gotten any worse - we just have bigger guns now.  Some of the immaturity the whole of mankind has got to go or - without Divine Intervention - we will manage to blow ourselves up.

This Man is NO Christian

Of children, God had said 'any who would harm a one of these, it should be better a millstone were around their neck and they were thrown into the ocean.'

Look at what George W. hath wrought. No man of God would allow what this man and his minions have allowed to happen. Yes, this is war, but all the way up to the White House should punishment be meted out. I weep for my country. It has turned away from all that is good and true. And anyone who would vote for Bush is betraying this nation, its ideals, and God's Commandments.
